The tougher times, the more united brothers!

„Be men of courage; be strong! (1Co 16:13, NIV translation) Paul obviously saw great and meaningful potential in men. And that is what we experienced this time!
Men started preparations for the conference with great enthusiasm! There were so many ideas to make men feel free. They reconstructed the stage, prepared different tricks (including stunts), brought different devices, barrels, antique gas station and even „rare exhibits” so that it would be interesting for everybody. Men taught lectures on financial management in family and man’s health, exhibited photos, shared secrets of preparing and serving meals, making a not that can easily be untied, and making cocktails. Men demonstrated stunts on a motorcycle – jumped over the fence, drove through a wall of fire, as well as showed amazing tricks on a bicycle. A man who used to have serious back problems was throwing weights and testifying on divine healing. Judo fighters demonstrated fighting techniques in such a way that we, spectators, were sometimes left breathless hoping that everything will end well.

Unusual was the way the pastor arrived to the service – on a motorcycle right to the pulpit! He preached the message on the mission, responsibility, and authority of man – if you were born as a man obviously God has a plan for your life and He has given you special resources to fulfill it. In the evening service we talked about the fact that men often have been programmed from their childhood to look at themselves as irresponsible, untrustworthy, lazy rascals. When we see the actions of same men from the crème of society who are changing their orientation, changing women as gloves, boasting with their immoral life-style, and starting love affairs with young girls, etc. it seems to confirm that this is natural for modern man. But it’s a downright lie! Man was created to be the defender, fighter, standard of loyalty, and the rock to stand on and to find security in!

A sense of providence descended on us as we watched brothers open the innermost chambers of their soul to one another and share what was precious and meaningful to them. This day definitely brought greater closeness, openness, and unity among us. It was not just singing words „I love you with the love of Jesus …” at the same time saying „John, I would like to stand you a coffee therefore, George, please give e your wallet!” A precious of true anointing was poured over all of us as we were becoming more united (Psalm 133).

„Be men of courage!” Paul said in 1 Corinthians 16:13. I believe he is saying the same words today. He is saying them not just to some prophets, apostles or angels but to us – simple men who choose to cast aside all lies and live in truth. We can accomplish and change so much in this world if only we live as real men and united brothers who mean “yes” by their “yes” and “no” by their “no”.

Thank you to all men, brothers and “buddies” who took a courageous step ahead. The best things are still awaiting us!
