Group “Vestnieciba” (“Embassy”)

It represents the Kingdom of Heaven or God's interests on earth. We have the privilege to be messengers who receive the message from God's heart and by means of music make it known to others. It is dedication, humility, and love for God and at the same time a true cry from the heart to reach people.
When asked: “Why do you write music, play, and sing? Why do you tour around Latvia with concerts and cover the costs yourselves?” the leader of the instrumental group, keyboard player, author and arranger of many songs Maris Riekstins says: “Because of love! Just and only because of love! What we all experienced when we met Jesus was so powerful and unique that we cannot keep it in ourselves. We want the people who will listen to these songs to experience and reexperience what we have experienced – forgiveness, peace, joy and strength!”

The lead vocalist and author of several songs Valters Gleske explains that these songs are born out of moments when he forgets about everything in this world and just worships the Lord and gets soaked in His presence. “Worshiping God is the main meaning of my life. There is nothing more valuable in this world. Getting to know Christ step by step I become more and more dependent on Him presence.”
