demands the conference in Riga

„No! God has not rejected His people! The promise
„I will bless those who bless you …” is still in effect!”

Reverend Rosemarie Claussen (Germany)
Adolf Hitler’s goddaughter, daughter of a Nazi general.

Rosemarie Claussen is an ordained minister and president of Joshuamission/Joshua Mission Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and the United States.
She was born in Hamburg, Germany. Her father was a Nazi General of World War II. Her life changed dramatically after Nazis killed her father because he refused to persecute and kill Jewish people. Instead, he helped them to escape. She experienced the horrors of war that filled her with hate, bitterness and unforgiveness. Through the miraculous grace of God she received inner healing from her traumatic childhood. God is using her testimony to bring reconciliation and restoration to people around the world.

Pastor Boriss Grisenko (Kiev)
Founder and Rabbi of the largest Jewish Messianic congregation in Kiev, Ukraine.

The ministry of this congregation to the Jewish people and the Church is accompanied by God's various signs and miracles. The Lord has been using the members of this Messianic community as pioneers in different areas of ministry and Biblical studies.
In the recent years Pastor Boris Grisenko has been invited to take part in conferences and seminars to teach in theological schools and colleges in different countries of Europe, Asia, USA, in South Africa and Canada. The main reasons for this is his a non-traditional approach to studying the Scriptures and the increasing role of the Jewish ministry and Jewish people in the Body of Messiah all over the world.

Leon Mazin (Israel)

Return to Zion Ministry has started from the small congregation in Haifa which was born in 2001 as a result of the productive work of Messianic congregation Tents of Mercy (Kiriyat-Yam).
The church ministers in different areas. Little by little Return to Zion from a small congregation grew into a ministry with different humanitarian and outreach projects. We produce educational programs, movies, and printable materials.
We are now running two soup kitchens, one in Haifa and one in Upper Nazareth. In Haifa we distribute around 1700 hot meals a month, and an other 1400 in Nazareth. Those who are unable to leave their houses, have their meals delivered to them. We also receive an increasing amount of referrals from the municipal social workers, and we are happy to help anybody in need.
„Shavei Tzion” together with other Messianic churches is striving to reach people from all walks of life with God’s Word, thus fulfilling the words of the prophet Isaiah: „ For the law will go forth from Zion And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem” (Isa 2:3).

His parents were believers, descendants of Kuban Cossacks who were deported to Karelia. During the World War II they found themselves in a refugee camp in Finland where they eventually settled for life after the war. Viktor’s talents became obvious in early childhood but in order to achieve something he had to rely solely on himself.

Because of the excellent voice and persistence he was noticed and gradually he became the most popular host of children’s TV shows, a renowned singer, and artist. In 1965 the singer represented Finland in the Eurovision contest in Naples, Italy.

The exhibition „Latvia Jewish Community: history, tragedy, rebirth” is a concise but information-saturated story of the energy, hope, pain, and tragedy of the Jewish community of Latvia and their rebirth at the end of the 20th century. Dr.hist.h.c. Margers Vestermanis comments the exhibition saying that it is „intended not just as a chronological illustration of history but also as food for thought concerning the relationships between the Jewish and home country nation in crucial moments of historic changes... I hope I will facilitate interest and encourage dialogue, communication, and contacts. It is a step towards a new quality of life. To put it in the words of a great Jewish philosopher and humanist Martin Buber – „Human encounter and communication among one another is the true understanding of the human existence.””

The exhibition includes 20 panels that reveal the life of the Jewish community in Latvia from the second half of the 20th century till our days, including the cooperation of the government and State of Latvia with the Jewish community in Latvia, the Holocaust, and rescuers of Jews during the World War II.
The exhibition has been compiled by the Foreign Ministry of Latvia in cooperation with the museum „Jews in Latvia”.
